List of prohibited items

Please note that the following list is a common prohibited item list and does not provide detailed examples of all prohibited items. We reserve the right to notify members that a product may still be unacceptable for import even if it is not explicitly listed. Where appropriate, we will contact you to discuss and take appropriate action — you may need to cover the cost of returning the product to the merchant, or we may handle the goods in any manner we deem appropriate. Reshipment, if required, incurs an additional fee.

Food, agricultural products, and perishable goods

Perishable foods, raw meat, and seafood

Any perishable item requiring specific storage conditions (dairy, eggs, fresh produce, homemade food) and any raw meat or seafood products.

Plant seeds, fertilizer, and soil

Preserved or dried flowers, fresh plants, and seeds intended for planting (excluding edible seeds and cooking nuts). All types of fertilizer, soil, and powdered substances of unknown origin.

Dangerous goods

Harmful substances

Vehicle shock absorbers, explosives, strong magnets, radioactive material, oxidizers, organic peroxides (uranium, radium), toxic chemicals, and similar items.

Flammable materials

Flammable solids, liquids, and substances that release flammable gas on contact with water — including matches, nail polish, hair dye, phosphorus, sulfur, and metal powders.

Gas and compressed gas tanks

Compressed air, dry ice, fire extinguishers, gas cylinders, airbags, aerosols, gas lighters, light bulbs, and canned or carbonated beverages.

Battery

Items that cannot clear security screening, including electronic components, standalone batteries, and separately-shipped batches of dry-cell or lithium batteries.

Weapons and controlled items

Firearms and related accessories

All types of firearms and gun-related items, plus military or combat equipment such as gun slings, water guns, air guns, toy guns, shotguns, and bullets.

Controlled knives and arrows (excluding tableware)

All kinds of restricted knives, bows, blades, and similar controlled items.

Regulated consumer goods

Perfume

Perfumes, balms, reed diffusers, scented pens, room fragrances, and other scented products.

Latest

Tickets, personal letters, cash, and cash equivalents

Concert and admission tickets, letters (bank, bills, personal), cash and cash equivalents, and counterfeit items.

Alcohols

All kinds of alcohol, including alcoholic beverages and perfumes.

Tobacco and smoking devices

All cigarettes, tobacco products (including smokeless and e-cigarettes), and related accessories such as lighters, hookahs, tar solvents, and vaping devices.

Squalane

Any product containing squalane, whether of animal or plant origin, including cosmetics, skincare, and personal care products.

Others

Latest

Shipments prohibited by law or affected by law

Any import or export prohibited by law, dangerous goods restricted for air transport, or packages that are damp or leaking.
